Water covers 71 percent of our planet. The Pacific Ocean is larger than the area of all continents taken together. Actually, our planet should be called Water instead of Earth. The DUO AZZURRO immerses itself in the beauty of the oceans. Non-illuminated, one sinks into the deep blue of the seas, and the continents' radiant blue shading creates accentuations. Illuminated, the globe reveals the sight of the oceans' entire ground structure: Depths, sea basins, volcanoes, and seamounts as high as the Alps. Honored with the Book Award of the travel fair ITB 2016, the AZZURRO offers depth in the literal sense.

The Magnum globe by COLUMBUS conveys a feeling of our earth's unique nature simply through the gravitas of its perimeter. With diameters up to 200 cm, it forms a natural center in your home. The abundant details of the geographical descriptions and the relief structures as well as the harmonic coloring of its map connect size and elegance. The hand-coated spheres and manually formed mountings made of stainless steel do not only pay tribute to traditional craftsmanship but also manage to put many a worldview into perspective.
